For its debut iteration at workspace, Golden will create a large-scale live video installation comprised of small sculptures of people with whom she discussed the concept of the piece. <span style=" ;font-size:x-small;"><span style=" ;font-size:11px;">Drawing upon the artist’s interest in reversing the spectacle</span></span>, the work gathers its form and momentum from itself. The actual materials in the installation are representative of an antiquated and curious conceptualization of femininity, pulling from notions of craftsmanship lost, and a romantic view of a pre-internet era. As a traveling sculpture on its first stop, Busts: My Personal Winter aims to be a work that is physically comprised of all the people who have ever looked at it.
